Agreement for Personal Use of Reliability, Maintainability, Supportability Partnership, Inc. Electronically Published Materials
1. Agreement
This Agreement grants the User (defined as the person purchasing the product and accepting this Agreement) access through the Internet to The Journal of Reliability, Maintainability, and Supportability in Systems Engineering (“Journal”).
2. Authorized Sites and Users
The User may install the Journal on one computer at a time, and that computer shall be known as the Authorized Site. The User may install the Journal on a second computer provided the Journal is not used on more than one computer at the same time. Other individuals may use the Journal at separate times.
3. Permitted Uses
Users may make all use of the Journal as is consistent with the Fair Use Provisions of United States and international copyright laws. Users may view, download, or print a reasonable portion of the Journal for their personal scholarly research and educational use in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. Individual items that are downloaded will not be stored electronically, and shall be used only for the printing of a single copy to be used by the User.
4. Prohibitions
User shall not to forward, transfer, sell, rent, or otherwise knowingly distribute or provide access to the Journal or any portions thereof to any third party. Articles and other information obtained from the Journal shall not be used for fee-for-service purposes such as document delivery.
User shall not modify, alter, or create derivative works of the items contained
in the Journal without prior written permission from RMS Partnership, Inc.
Articles and other information obtained as a result of this Agreement shall
not be systematically re-published in any media, print, or electronic form.
Items shall not be stored in aggregate quantities for later retrieval.
5. Delivery
The Journal shall be delivered in the Portable Document Format (PDF). It is the responsibility of the Users to establish and maintain at their expense licenses for Adobe Acrobat, and any other software necessary to view the Journal.
6. Term
This Agreement shall become effective on the date accepted.
